It happens to everyone - someone out there just doesn't like you.
I recently had a co-worker write horrible stuff about me and my physical appearance. At first, it hurt a lot. I have always been insecure about certain features of my body and to see it in writing (on Facebook, nonetheless) was horrifying. But then I realized something. Sure, maybe I have these imperfect features on my body.. but that doesn't define me for who I am!
I decided to brush it off. Instead of reacting and confronting him, I decided to use it as fuel. Finally, someone has made me face my fears. Someone has told me what I've been fearing all along - that I'm ugly. And you know what? It's not that bad! I actually feel relieved!
Now, you may be wondering: what could I have possibly done to warrant such hurtful words against me? My answer to that is simple: what ever it was, no one should ever take to the internet and slander someone's physical appearance to hundreds of people, including co-workers. Not only is that unprofessional to the extreme, it also shows bad character. Also: welcome to being a flight attendant. It's highschool 2.0 for some people!
I will leave you with some great inspirational quotes and prints. They are all incredibly true!
